About these terms

This site is operated by Mega Star Ecom LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in the United States under EIN 42-3616105, at 282 Revere Ave, Bronx, NY 10465, USA. Trading as Mega Star Distribution.

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18, that the information you give us is accurate, and that you accept these terms together with our privacy policy, shipping policy and returns policy.

Orders and acceptance

A listing on this site is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation — not when you receive the order acknowledgement.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

• the item is unavailable or the lead time has changed materially;
• a price or description was published in error;
• we cannot verify the payment or delivery details;
• we reasonably suspect fraud, or resale in breach of a manufacturer's terms;
• supplying the goods would breach export controls or sanctions.

Where we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund in full.

Pricing and payment

Prices are in USD and are shown at manufacturer's suggested retail price unless stated otherwise. Prices exclude sales tax, which is calculated and shown at checkout, and exclude delivery unless the order qualifies for free delivery over $149.

We take payment when your order is dispatched. Where an item is on a lead time, we may take payment earlier if we have to place a non-cancellable order with a supplier; we will tell you before we do.

Pricing errors. If an obvious error is published — a price materially below cost, or a misplaced decimal — we are not obliged to supply at that price. We will contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel and refund in full.

Availability and lead times

Most of our catalogue is listed as available to order with a stated lead time. Lead times are estimates supplied by the manufacturer or distributor and are not guaranteed. We will tell you promptly if a lead time changes materially, and you may cancel for a full refund at that point.

Delivery and risk

Delivery arrangements are set out in the shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

Delivery dates are estimates. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, weather, customs or supplier failure.

Returns and warranty

Returns are covered by our returns policy (30 days for most items) and warranty cover by our warranty page. Neither limits your statutory rights.

Acceptable use of equipment

Some products we sell are subject to regulation. It is your responsibility to operate them lawfully in your jurisdiction. In particular:

• Radio equipment — transmit power, frequency bands and antenna gain are regulated (in the United States, by the FCC). Configuring equipment outside its permitted parameters, or combining an amplifier and antenna beyond the permitted EIRP, may be unlawful.
• Test equipment — do not exceed a meter's CAT rating or voltage limit. Working on live circuits carries a risk of serious injury; the CAT rating is a safety specification, not a suggestion.
• Cellular equipment — must be used with a lawful subscription on a network that admits the device.

We supply equipment; we do not supply engineering sign-off. Advice from our team is offered in good faith and does not replace a qualified installer or a site-specific risk assessment.

Trade marks and content

All manufacturer names, logos, model numbers and trade marks on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used to identify the products we sell. Their use here does not imply endorsement or an authorised-dealer relationship except where a product or brand page explicitly states one.

Text, layout and photography created by us remain our property. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission. Manufacturer specifications are reproduced as supplied; if a figure conflicts with the maker's current data sheet, the data sheet governs — tell us and we will correct the page.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost income, downtime, loss of data, or the cost of engaging a third party.

Equipment we supply is not certified for life-support, life-safety or other applications where a failure could cause death, injury or severe environmental damage. Do not use it in those applications.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available where you live.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you place your order.
